What Zodiacs is
Zodiacs is an independent educational reference about how games are designed and how they evolved. We publish plain-language guides on design principles, mechanics, genres, game history, and narrative design.
We describe games as a craft, not as products to buy or brands to follow.
What we are not
Zodiacs is not a game developer, publisher, or retailer. We do not review or promote specific titles, and we do not offer professional, financial, legal, or health advice. Our guides are neutral, general design education.
How the register is organised
The site is organised into five books, each covering one area of game design or history. Every entry is a self-contained guide written for a general adult audience and kept free of brand promotion.
